10 Useful Ways with a Paper Clip
As a mother I often find myself coming up coming up with new uses for old products and improvising a lot. In other words, re-purposing. At work the other day the buckle on my shoe broke and I found myself looking around for something that would do in a pinch. The first thing I found was a paper clip. This got me thinking to the many times I have turned to a paper clip to help me out in a pinch. So here you go...

10 Useful Ways with a Paper Clip
- Hem your pants on the run (or mend a broken shoe buckle, necklace clasp, etc)
- Hair barrette
- Ornament hook (we have used this so many times that I'm not sure I know what a true ornament hook looks like)
- Book mark (my favorite kind because it holds the pages together)
- A "chip clip" (or any other item in your cupboard you need to keep fresh)
- Resetting those tiny buttons on toys and other electronic gadgets
- Picking locks when your two year old has locked the bathroom for the 20th time
- Cleaning tool for small crevices (jewelry, keyboard, etc.)
- Nail Cleaner or toothpick when you are REALLY in a pinch (yes, I said it).
