UPDATE!!! "Meet the Letters": Watch the Video Review by Graham

UPDATE!!!
After originally posting this back on 10/13 I have some important updates! After about 3 weeks worth of viewing Graham has done the following (he is 18 months old): Recognized the letter "G" in the Ingles grocery store sign. He pointed to it when we pulled up and exclaimed "G" and wanted to touch it! He picks up and says "O" with the letter "O" from his bath tub letters as well as the letter "T". Just this morning he read "Y" "O" "G" from his yogurt container. All of this was without any prompting! IT WORKS!
I bought "Meet the Letters" based on all of the reviews! It had a major reputation to live up to! Here are some of those testimonials:
"When my son was 23 months he didn't know any of his letters and then I showed him "Meet the Letters." He immediately fell in love with the adorable letter characters and within 3 weeks he knew all of his upper and lowercase letters." Or how about this one, "My daughter learned the entire alphabet in a little less than 2 weeks. She is only 2!" And this is the one that sold me, "My 18 month old learned letters in 2 weeks, numbers, shapes and colors in a few viewings! Amazing!"
So, what do I think? I think this video is working! Some other reviews on Amazon said over and over again that the video was annoying to parents (agreed!) but not to the children watching (again, agreed!). Graham, surprisingly, likes to watch this video! Basically, it is the entire alphabet repeated over and over and over and over...well you get the picture! Of course, the letters are turned into cute characters as well as the standard version of lower and uppercase. The back of the DVD says, "Children can easily make a transition from a memorable character to printed text." After three viewings Graham is repeating the letters and has said one, "V" on site. I'll keep you posted as to what happens after 2 or 3 weeks! Visit http://www.preschoolprepco.com/ for all of the products (DVDs, Books, and accessories). I purchased mine from Amazon for $9.99.

Hey Felicia, this is amazing! I can't believe how quickly Graham caught on. I have to buy this. I am definitely buying this today. Lucas is only 14 months, but it is never too early to start. Thanks for posting this. I would have never known about it. BTW, you're welcome for the blog award! Your blog is one of the first I began reading on a daily basis : )
Also, our sons are close in age so I enjoy reading about another mom in the same boat.
