Health Week: Braun ThermoScan Ear Thermometer (See It in Action w/ Video!)

Are you looking for a non-invasive, quick acting, thermometer? You should check out the Braun ThermoScan. I will be bringing you 2 more thermometers this week with varying price ranges.What I like about this one is the fact that Graham doesn't have to sit still for an eternity to wait on a reading (about 2-3 seconds...see the video for proof!). I also like that it is non-invasive (we have been relying on rectal temperatures). The Braun ThermoScan also gives you a "guiding light" to let you know if you have the probe positioned properly (don't all parents wonder if they did it right?). It also has a pre-warmed tip!
It also comes with a case of lens filters (covers to slide over tip for protection).
Note: You need to take the temperature in the same ear each time because temperatures can very from ear to ear, ear must be free from excess earwax build-up (yuck!), external factors could influence the reading (ears covered before reading, lying on one ear or the other before reading).
You can pick this up for about $48 at Target. Check back the rest of this week to find QUALITY thermometers at varying prices! I have one that is a lot less and one that is a lot more...but all 3 worth it!

Oi!A lot better than rectal! Surprisingly, Keegan and Lochlan both stay still to have their temps taken with this thermometer. I guess because it is so quick!

Heck yeah a lot better than rectal...maybe I can convince somone that it would make a nice Christmas gift...ha ha! I could see my 3 year old Allison's face now, as she opens her gift..."YEAH!! a....a....a....thermometer!" hee hee. um...maybe not a good Christmas gift, but something I will keep on my own buying radar. Felicia - can you stop by and check my Buzzworthy Blog Scrolling Marquee. Do you prefer that or the one who scroll by hand? (That one is on the WAY bottom to the left... I didnt delete it yet...cant decide...).

After 6 yrs, my son is finally letting me take his temp with an oral themometer! This would be a great gift for a new mom!

I can't believe Graham willingly let you take his temp-lol! Tell Mathew he should be a "hand model" : )
