Make Something Monday: No Bake Cookies!
Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
6 Tbsp cocoa
2/3 cup peanut butter
2 cups quick cooking oats
Directions:
Combine sugar, milk and vanilla, bring to a rolling boil and boil one minute. Add peanut butter, combine oats and cocoa; add to mixture. Spoon onto waxed paper. Let set about one hour.
These are super easy to make and they are so good! Not to mention, because this recipe is from the dark ages, it is cheap! I love it when you don't have to spend a fortune to make some decent home made cookies!

These look really good. I was going to try to make them for Einstein's cookie exchange this Friday, but there's an issue with peanut allergies...darn. I'll make them for our house later.

I love no bake cookies...my MIL makes them for hubby as a special treat when we go visit. Plus, I think they may have been the first thing I learned to make when I was little.

I make these same cookies only without the peanut butter. They are sooooo good. Nothing like (almost) instant gratification!
I want to participate in Make Something Monday (my first time :) ) so I'm posting an easy recipe for blue cheese chicken (with a variation for feta cheese/sun-dried tomato chicken) on my blog. I'll go do all the linkies now. Thank you!
