Connections and a Free Style Rap: Label Daddy Offering FULL Sponsorship to BlogHer '09!

It all started out by me scouring the Internet to find the best products at the best prices when I was pregnant. I am a bit of a review fanatic and like to KNOW that I am getting the most for my money! But this website has turned into so much more!
The best and most important thing about this site is the connections that I have made along the way! Connections are a pretty big deal to me. I guess that is the counselor in me coming out...but...it is so true! If you stop and think about it, what would we be without the many connections we have made throughout our lives? Life would be pretty dull huh?
I am amazed with the PR reps and sponsors I have had the opportunity to work with so far and how willing they are to help and give feedback. Of course, we all know how valuable it is to have the genuine connections you make among other bloggers (especially mommy bloggers). There is a wealth of information and support we give to each other daily! I have recently learned of a great company that is also quite found of connections: Label Daddy! They create personalized labels for your kid's stuff that are microwave, washer and dryer, and dishwasher safe! Guess what? They are offering to send one lucky blogger to the BlogHer '09 conference for FREE! Talk about being supportive!I have also made a wonderful friend through all of this, Piera from Jolly Mom. We honestly do talk every day on Skype and about once a week on the phone to help each other out or just to vent! Who knew blogging could do all this?
As much as I am enjoying this experience, it will never compare to what I do In Real Life. I am a school counselor. I am honored every day I walk into that school to work at such a wonderful place and with such great students and co-workers. It is such a blessing to watch these students grow and learn as the years go on. I'm not saying that it is not a stressful job because it definitely is. All of Graham's sippy cups and jackets are labeled because we would definitely loose them in the church nursery (besides, I was tired of the masking tape they were sticking on all his stuff that takes a jack hammer to get off all the glue)! I just had the conversation this sunday with one of the nursery workers about how I was a label fanatic! She had noticed that Graham's was the only sippy cup with a label (can you belive that?)! But, I don't stop with the sippy cup! His shoes, jackets, coats, and wipes case are all labeled! I even bought him a monogrammed bag so that it wouldn't be confused with some other child's!
