Make Something Monday: Cupcakes and Memories!

My husbandand I decided that it would be fun to do a little "Valentine's Day Extravaganza" at our house this weekend! I love it when we spend time together as a family doing simple things. We actually just got finished chasing each other around the house and hiding! It was a blast!
So, for Valentine's Day we decided we would make cupcakes as a family. Graham made one especially for his friend Claire! I warned her mom that there was probably a little something extra special in there!
I know, anyone can buy a box of cake mix and frosting and make cupcakes...but the point was for us to make a memory that will hopefully become a Valentine's Day tradition!

Graham had to take a little snack break while decorating!

Looks like a lot of fun and why didn't I get a cupcake? Seriously, all I got was a virtual cupcake-LOL! I want a real one or maybe an Ingles cookie : )

Finn discovered cupcakes recently and no huge surprise that he loved them--he has an enormous sweet tooth. They look yummy!

So you made the cupcakes and I actually got time with the hubster (which you know I wasn't anticipating!). We didn't end up doing the cupcake thing cause my mom brought cupcakes for the kids (all of us.). =) After seeing your pics, I wish we had! Oh well... Any day is a good day to make cupcakes, right? =)

Felicia. I seriously left you a long babbling comment from my phone. I thought I did it right, but I can't find it. You see, we've been driving for the past 2 days from Texas to NC, where we are here now, (YEAH that we are out of the car) anyway, we are at the hotel now, in Cary, NC, where we are staying for 3 weeks...So, I saw your comment about Make Something Monday, and I had to try to tell you that I couldn't visit you or anyone for Make Something Monday, cause I was on the road, in fact, I did my Make Something Monday on Sunday, cause I didn't want to miss it! lol. Anyway, it is good to be back in NC for awhile.. And now I am wondering on whose blog I posted the comment meant for you.. ha ha ha ha...
