One Sick Little Boy

My poor little guy has his first illness to require a prescription! We have been so fortunate to avoid any prescription medicine for him up until this point! We are blessed! I have spent several of my days just holding him lately.
When the doctor finally decided to see us we found out he has a pretty bad ear infection (borderline walking pneumonia). Poor little guy!
Here are the pictures that our WONDERFUL baby sitter took of him on Thursday. He has always been a great napper, but the ear infection just won't let him sleep! He finally found a comfortable spot on the "Elmo Couch".

Poor little thing. I hope he is on the mend soon. I hate having to give the little ones medicine because it's usually such a struggle. When my oldest was little (around 5), one time, I told her that I wished it was me sick instead of her. I guess she must have been feeling pretty rough, because it amazed her that I would say that and she repeated it for the longest time. She won't understand until she's a mom how much I meant it.

Oh hun I knew you said he was sick but I didn't relize it was that bad. Poor little one, I hope he is feeling better soon. I bet the medicine will help him real soon! Keep us posted. Muah hugs and kisses coming your way.

Oh, I am so sorry, Felicia! I hope he has a super quick recovery!
Both of my girls have yet to require prescription medicine either, knock on wood..It is only a matter of time I am sure, it is just impossible to shield them from every germ, like we would want to!

oh we know all too well about ear infections. we are almose to the point of ear tubes, hopefully it will not come to that. I hope your little one is feeling better soon!

I'm so glad he is feeling better! Poor little guy was all tuckered out on the elmo couch! Now he is back to himself running and dancing all over the house with Caleb!

Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment on my bad day. I must admit it felt good to write to everyone and get my feelings off my chest. My poor 2 year old is still sick and very whiny today...he is on meds now for a double ear infection. So I hope that he gets feeling better soon! Is your lil one feeling better?
