This Valentine's Day Give Water!

Friday, February 13, 2009 Posted by Felicia

The average person in America will spend $120 on Valentine's Day gifts this year. On February 14th, we'll pick up the flowers and chocolate, carefully wrap the jewelry box, and head out to a dimly-lit restaurant on a reservation booked over a month ago. On the following day, we'll move on with the rest of our year.

This Valentine's day, do something a little different and give a gift that will last long after the flowers are gone. This year, charity: water has 3 creative ways to show your love, with 100% going to water projects in developing nations. You can mail a physical card, send a gift bottle, or send an e-card.

Just $20 can give one person clean, safe drinking water for 20 years, and you can still keep the dinner reservations! Just visit:www.charitywater.org/valentine
