Make Something Monday: Graham's 2nd Birthday at the Beach!

(View from our 2 1/2 hour ferry ride in)My mother-in-law made Graham a cookie cake! You simply take two bags of cookie mix and follow the directions. Spread it out in a cake pan and bake it! She also frosted it and I "decorated" it! Keep in mind, we have limited resources here! He will still have his "airplane cake" at his birthday party, but today is his REAL BIRTHDAY!

The cookie cake is great! Hadn't ever thought of making one of those at home. Hope you're ready for the terrible twos! He looks so cute up above in his dress up clothes.

We've only ever celebrated the kids' b-days on their party day. What a great idea to make a separate cookie cake to celebrate on Graham's b-day! I may have to do that this year! :-)
