Make Something Monday: Lady Bug Thumbprint Pot

Make Something Monday

I received the most adorable gift from Graham this Mother's Day! His Sunday School teacher brought in painted flower pots filled with dirt and Marigolds. She then had each child dip their thumb into red paint and pressed it along the rim of the pot! She drew in the dots and antennas to complete the "lady bug look"! You could write any message you wanted onto the pot! I think this is such a cute idea!

What you will need:

Flower Pot
Paint (your choice and a little bit of red)
Sharpie Marker or Black Paint
Fill dirt
Flower of Choice

All of this can probably be purchased for under $10.. maybe even for $5 if you shop the right sales or have some of this on hand!

That is a very cute Mother's Day gift. Shaun made something similar in school this past week and brought it home Friday for Melinda.
