Father's Day Crafts and Cheap Gift Ideas!

Thursday, June 04, 2009 Posted by Felicia

Soda Drink Holder. You can purchase the foam drink holders from craft stores for pretty cheap. Decorate them with foam graphics, yarn, ribbon, or anything else you have laying around the house!

Hand Print or Foot Print Tie. Make dad a sweet memory by either buying a solid color tie or using one in his closet. Use fabric paint and dip your child's hand or foot in the paint and press onto the tie!

Pencil or Remote Control Holder. Use a can (oatmeal, pringles, etc) and glue Popsicle sticks all around. You can then cover the Popsicle sticks with tacky paper or decorate with markers and ribbon!

Dad's Coupon Book. Have your children brainstorm some things that dad usually takes care of around the house. Next, either have your kids draw out the coupons or create them on the computer using the ideas they came up with. Bind them together in a note book or with a note card ring. Dad can cash them in when he wants a break!

Brag Book. Gather up dad's favorite photos and place them in a flip photo holder. You can purchase these for less than a dollar sometimes at craft stores and places like Wal-Mart and Target. Customize the outside with puffy paint.

Make a Yummy Father's Day Treat. Check out this recipe from Kraftfoods.com. It is for a Pulled Chicken Sandwich with easy steps and ingredients! This is my favorite pick for Father's Day!

I love the pencil/pen holder. He can never find any when he needs them so this would be a perfect project for my 4-year-old daughter.
