Make Something Monday: Airplane Fabric Picture

Monday, June 15, 2009 Posted by Felicia

I have been trying to think of some creative ways to create an airplane look in Graham's room. I am also trying to do this on a budget! I decided to keep it simple for now and use his existing frames and create a picture myself. I used some scrap fabric to cut out the plane figures and then taped them down because I have no glue! I then used a sharpie marker to draw the dotted lines.

Eventually I will make this more permanent with glue and better fabric. But, this will do in a pinch! It is always a rewarding feeling when you reuse items around the house anyway!

That is so cute, and creative on a budget. I am going to need to do that kind of thing for my son's room soon, his is outgrowing the baby room theme very fast!

That's very neat. You're so creative. I'd like to re-paint all of our interior walls (especially the bedrooms) because we got the wrong finish. I hate glossy walls. It just makes me uptight.
