Help for Quick School Lunches!

Because I work in the school system I generally have to be out the door by 7am every morning. When you think about the fact that this means I will need to shower, dress, get breakfast, wake a toddler, dress him, and get his bag together for Nana's house without waking up at the crack of dawn it leaves little time for anything else! I usually try to prepare as much as I can the night before, but sometimes it is just impossible when you are talking about food.

One great idea that I used even when I was going to school was Lunchables. Every once in a while these would come in handy when you just didn't have time to prepare the night before or in the morning. Here's the deal, Lunchables are now VERY different from what they used to be! Mom Central introduced me to the all new Lunchables which boasts spring water, sub sandwich, turkey made with 100% turkey breast, whole grain bread, 2% Kraft cheddar, applesauce, and a light dessert like Chewy Chips Ahoy or Mini Nilla Wafers! This is not just great for back to school, it is also a great lunch for an adult I might add!

There are six new varieties to try that include: Turkey and Cheddar Sub Sandwich, Ham and American Sub Sandwich, Turkey and Cheddar Cracker Combos, Ham and American Cracker Combos, Deep Dish Cheese Pizza and Deep Dish Pepperoni Pizza. The Turkey Sub and Deep dish Pizza meet the Sensible Solutions criteria at Kraft Foods.

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central on behalf of Oscar Mayer Lunchables and received a sample to facilitate my candid review. In addition, Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.

What are some of your time saving tips when preparing meals for back to school?
