I have to tell you about something fun that General Mills is doing. Do you remember those funny little Mr. Men and Little Miss characters from your childhood? Well, from now until October 17th when you purchase a box of one of the five General Mills Big G cereal from Target you will receive one of those cute characters as an iron on transfer on your box! Look for them on the back of Cocoa Puffs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Honey Nut Cheerios, Cookie Crisp and Lucky Charms!

If you are looking for a fun activity that is cheap, this is a great idea! You are probably already going to be picking up a box of Honey Nut Cheerios for your snack cups, so why not have a little craft thrown in? Most of us have plain t-shirts laying around the house, so all you will need is your box of cereal and an iron!


We were sent all 5 boxes to check out the fun characters. You will find Little Miss Sunshine on the back of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Mr. Messy on Cocoa Puffs, Little Miss Chatterbox on Cookie Crisp, Mr. Happy on Lucky Charms, and Mr. Strong on Honey Nut Cheerios! Of course, we had to go with Graham's favorite, which is Honey Nut Cheerios and cut out the Mr. Strong iron on transfer that was on the back. In about 4 minutes Graham had a brand new Mr. Strong shirt. We practiced making our strong muscles in the mirror while he ate his Cheerios.
