Scooby-Doo! First Frights for Wii, DS or PS2
Halloween is just around the corner, and if you are like me, you like to find treats that are not just candy! It seems like kids receive enough candy to feed a small army on Halloween! If you have older kids who enjoy playing the Wii, DS or PS2 there is a brand new Scooby-Doo! game that is perfect for the occasion: Scooby-Doo! First Frights. We were sent the game in the PS2 version for review. The game starts out with the entire Scooby-Doo team trying to find out who the Phantom of the school play is. You will be taken on a mission through the school using all five characters at separate times (Sooby, Shaggy, Daphne, Fred, and Velma). You have the opportunity to rotate through each character who has their own different abilities and special moves. As you play the game you unlock costumes (ex: Fred becomes a football player who can throw footballs for defense from opponents) from the treasure chests that are available for purchase. By collecting Scooby Snacks, you earn money to purchase the different costumes that each have their own special properties to help you in game play. As you go through the levels you find clues that help you identify the villain and help solve the mystery.

You will be faced with flying witches, skeletons, ghosts, and the Phantom himself! A perfect backdrop for Halloween! This game is rated "E" for everyone 10 and older. Some of the characters can be a little spooky so you want to make sure you use this game for your older kids. The graphics are good and keep you engaged in the game. It is like being in a mystery movie that is unfolding right before your eyes!
So, if you have any Scooby-Doo fans in your house, they should have a blast getting involved in this game and unlocking the mystery to the Phantom.
This giveaway has ended. Congratulations to: GaHome2Mom, Jennifer, Mverno, PinkFrostyCookies, and Shawn!

My daughter loves Scooby-Doo she is 6 and loves the movie. She isn't experienced too much on the WII, but this sounds like a good game for her to learn on the WII, and I think I would even be entertained--LOL!

I love that the game has 20 different levels to allow for hours of playtime. Plus, the fact that you can gain skills/abilities by disguising your character is a cool twist!

( blush)
I like that its scooby. I love him!! My hubby and I have 5 kids together but other then the baby we just had this summer are other kids are all older and grown. Range in age from 13 to 25 ( yes the little baby ws a shock to us too) and are kids dont watch scooby anymore but I so miss him.
In fact we went to Atlanta this August and even though the baby is still a year or so from cartoons they had a promotion for scoobys new movie. The baby was not with us but they were giving away pictures with scooby and te mystery van and I begged my husband to take one with me. So here we are two forty something adults standing in line with a bunch of small kids and getting lots of odd looks. Even the photograper laughed and I had to convince my husband over and over again to stay the coarse! My reasoning was that some day our daughter would be tickled pink to have a photo of her parents with scooby doo. It is now framed and has a place of honor in her room.
If I won this I would keep it out for our 3 nephews and 2 neices to play who are over a lot but SHHHHHHHH don't tell anyone but I am pretty sur eif you crept downstairs in the wee hours of the night you might find some lady that goes by the name mom playing it too

I like that it is not a fighting game like so many other games. I also like that it is appropriate for both of my sons.

Well for starters I like it just cause it's Scooby Doo on of my favorite cartoons. I gree up with Scooby Doo and I love sharing him with my kids. I really like the drop-in, drop-out gameplay option, very cool!

I like that it has puzzles to figure out and you can dress the characters up in costumes
