Christmas Traditions. Extra Entries on the Here Comes Santa Claus Giveaways!

Monday, November 30, 2009 Posted by Felicia

Last week our family took part in something we do every year on the same day. Every Thanksgiving day we take a trip up the mountain to find the perfect Christmas Tree! We always travel to the same Christmas Tree farm that has the same sweet family who operates it. Each year the weather is different. There have been times when we are picking out our tree in short sleeves and other times when we have hats and gloves and shiver the entire time! My husband also gets all of our Christmas CDs out for the season.

This year it was magical because it actually started snowing right when we found our perfect tree! You can see the story of our trip here:

I like that it's rear facing until 35 lbs. My little rugrat is almost 20 lbs and will outgrow his first carseat before he turns one. I like the median fabric/color scheme.

my family's tradition was to volunteer our christmas - we would get up early, make food, set up crafts, and then they would bus in people from the homeless shelter. We had a giant room filled with "gifts" so that the parents could pick out new clothes, toys, and other donated items as christmas presents, while the kids made frames out of popsicle sticks or visited with the animals we had brought in... it was great.
