Sanity Saving Exercising with Child. Zigo! HUGE Giveaway!

Thursday, November 05, 2009 Posted by Felicia

I am so excited to be teaming up with Baby Luxe {daily} as well as Jolly Mom to offer you all this amazing giveaway! If you are a runner, biker, or just love the outdoors, you are going to want to learn more about this amazing product called Zigo.

Now, I do not currently own the Zigo, but my husband and I have definitely looked into it. We were first introduced to Zigo when we were trying to figure out a way to incorporate Graham into our bike rides. We wanted to find the safest and most comfortable method for all of us.

This versatile product allows you to either bike alone, bike with a baby carrier (front or back), jog, or turn it into a stroller (converts in less than 30 seconds)! Even though it can do so much, it can still fit in the back of any economy sized car! That's nice to know when you are trying to help minimize your own carbon footprint. The best part, you save money! You will not need to buy 4 different products to fit one need because it is all included in the Zigo Leader X2. What a fun way to get the entire family outdoors and into the fresh air!

See it in Action:

Zigo from My Zigo on Vimeo.

Here's what founder Michael Ehrenreich has to say about the history the Zigo invention: "I was sitting on my front porch with my wife and then six-month old son one beautiful summer evening. My wife complained that her feet hurt after jogging with a jogging stroller. I said, "you need to cross-train." She said, "I want a foot massage." The rest is history. Over a period of more than three years and several designs, the Zigo LEADER took form. A fearless group of engineers, industrial designers, and now manufacturing and sales and marketing specialists were added to the growing Zigo family. We hope that you enjoy using your Zigo LEADER as much as we enjoyed building it."

You can save 10% on your purchase by using code: ILUVZIGO1 at the myzigo.com website.

This giveaway has ended. Congratulations to Alesha who was the winning number drawn on Jolly Mom's website!

I learned that the childpod can fit in the trunk of the car - perfect!! I'm a facebook fan and will be following this site from now on....I LOVE this bike as it solves so many problems in one! I'm preggers with #2 and am already fretting about losing the baby weight. I've already promised myself I'm going to sign up for a race & begin running (once I get the doc's ok of course) and the jogger & bike would make my training so much easier! I NEED this bike! How ingenious, I wish I thought of it.

I had two questions. I found the answer to one on their site. When can I start cycling with my child?
Your child must be at least one year old, able to sit upright and hold their head steady, and be properly fitted with a toddler helmet before cycling in Carrier Bicycle Mode or Trailer Mode.

I love that it can easily fit into the trunk of an average sized car! That would make transporting it to running trails near us much easier! We do recommend that you refrain from more rigorous activities while your child is a newborn.

My favorite thing (although mentioned) is that the baby is ahead of you! I love that. Also, I learned that I NEED to win because there is no retailed in Pittsburgh!

Wow, the Zigo Leader X2 is an amazing product! I learned the company's first product, the Zigo Leader Carrier Bicycle System, can operate as a three-wheeled carrier bicycle, a stroller, jogging stroller, urban bicycle or trailer, converting among these modes in under one minute. I also learned that the ChildPod has a rear window so parents can view children at all times, and, the ChildPod comes with one adjustable 5-point padded restraint harness, expandable to two, as well as removable interior seats for easy cleaning and interior child pockets for juice, snacks and toys.

Using patent-pending LeaderLink® technology, the ChildPod® is easily coupled or uncoupled from the Cycle in a matter of seconds, creating a fully functional stroller (or jogger with optional Zigo® Jogger Kit).
