Tickle Tap Apps. More PreSchool Fun for your iPhone

If you have a child that is working on numbers or shapes, or maybe you have a little one that you need to keep entertained, there are some new iPhone apps you should check out.

See Sort Slider in Action:

Tickle Tap Apps has created Sound Shaker, Sort Slider, and Count Caddy. We were given the opportunity to try out Sort Slider as well as Count Caddy. Graham is pretty much a pro when it comes to using the iPhone and caught on quickly to both games.

First of all, the artwork used on these apps are adorable! I love how they have a clean and modern feel. I also think that this helps little ones (clean lines are good). The Sort Slider offers your child an object in the middle and two objects on either side of the screen. One object is the same, the other is completely different. It is up to your child to tilt the phone towards the side of the object that matches in order to have a correct answer. Graham really gets a kick out of this one, mostly because it is easy for him and because he can use the phone in a different way than his other iPhone games.

Count Caddy features Jinja the cat, Robin the bird, and Harvey the dog in order to help reinforce counting skills. The first level has your child moving the balls of yarn into a circle with Jinja the cat. As your preschooler continues in the game, they are moved along to higher levels that include counting by twos and threes. Graham also caught onto this game rather quickly and seems to enjoy it. This is the first app I have tried that teaches counting by twos and threes (which is something I value about it).

You can purchase the apps for $1.99 in the iTunes Store.

These apps were provided free of charge by Tickle Tap Apps. These are my honest opinions on the product. I do not post reviews on products I can not stand behind. Please see my Terms of Use for more info.
