Do you remember the "cow-in-a-can" toys that would mooooo at you when you turned it over and right side up again? Well now you can get that toy on your iPhone (or iTouch) thanks to the iMoo application!


Review:

iMOO is a simple and fun application that lets the user enjoy the classic "cow-in-a-can" toy. Slowly turn the iPhone or iPod Touch upside down (you'll hear the whoosh of the air being drawn into the can), then turn it right-side up to hear one of seven distinct moo sounds.


If you have an iPhone or a second-generation iPod Touch can take advantage of what we found to be the best feature: record and play their own moos with the built-in record feature. Catherine and I were excited to try out iMoo, mainly because of this special feature.

Joel, my husband, travels 4 days a week for work and he and Catherine miss each other greatly. So, we recorded Joel's two phrases that he always tells Catherine: "Hi Baby!" and "I love you" on the iMoo application.

Verdict:
It was great!

This application is very easy to use--so much so that my 16-month old daughter can easily flip the iMoo over and hear her daddy say "I Love You!". Catherine gets a big kick out of it and I love that she loves it.

I think it can definitely occupy young toddlers who get bored easily and it is fun for adults to make up their own recordings, too! In my opinion, this application is definitely worth the $0.99.
