LOL, I grew broccoli and I didn't realize it flowered. I thought it would just keep growing bigger. Oops!

Ooooohhhh... a fellow gardener??? :)
If you get a chance, hop over to my blog and take a gander at my tutorial on making homemade strawberry jam, or our "Family Plant Day". Or just look at my header...it'll best describe our love for gardening! :)
We haven't tried any green leafs, however. You would think after planting for more then 7 years we would...but we're not huge green leaf eaters. :)
I sure can appreciate the hard work that goes into gardening ANY type of vegetable though!
Weeds are one of our worst enemies!!! :)

Awesome! You sound like my Dad. I went to his house yesterday and he has tiny little baby green tomatoes and he's just over the moon! Of course I am too.. love home grown veggies.

I wish I was able to garden where I live -- too many deer and hubby doesn't like the look of a garden fence. Enjoy your fresh goodies!

That's is so awesome! Next year I am going to think more about spring veggies - I was so focused on having a summer garden - guess that's why you'll be eating fresh home grown broccoli and I will be paying $2.00 for mine! LOL

How exciting! I'd love to have a garden, but we may be moving soon so it makes no sense to try and grow one. You must be so excited about your broccoli coming in. I would be! lol
