Here are a series of Facebook posts my husband made yesterday, the day that Davis was due. I think they are so sweet and I want to be able to always remember them. I thought you all might like to see them as well.
I am so blessed to have a husband who loves and cares so deeply for his family. I can't wait to share Davis with you, but for now... we are patiently waiting. Please pray for us as we await his arrival. We know that God's timing is awesome and perfect.

Dear Davis,
Today is supposed to be your Birth Day. I know you are comfortable right now, but you already have a pretty cool room, I think you will like it. You have a big brother that can't wait to see you. So maybe you might consider coming out today to meet us. It might seem a little scary at first, but don't worry, I will be there to catch you, it's my job because I am your Daddy. :)
Dear Davis,
I just want to clarify, any strange sounds you might be hearing are not coming from the outside, they are on the inside, coming from your mother...so, why don't you come on out and find a nice set of arms to sleep in.
Dear Davis,
It appears, though you are not born yet, that you will take after your mother. You see, I am generally on time, early even. Your mom, on the other hand, is perfectly fine with skating in with only seconds to spare or "fashionably" late. To some this may appear to be a jab, but I couldn't think of a more caring, tenderhearted person to take after. Love Dad.
