We were sent the Deep Cleansing Foam as well as the Purely Nourishing Moisturizer to try out. Honestly, I never change up my skin care routine because I have had such bad luck with it in the past. It seems like anytime I try something new it completely throws off the pH balance of my skin and I either have break outs, or overly dry/oily skin. Because I have heard so many wonderful things about the bareMinerals line from friends as well as in reviews, I was not as concerned, but still hesitant.
I started using the Deep Cleansing Foam and Purely Nourishing Moisturizer about a week ago. I am happy to report that I have no breakouts and my skin feels great! It is not overly dry and is definitely not oily. After using the Deep Cleansing Foam my face felt so much cleaner and even a bit tighter. The face wash I currently use does not remove all of the dirt and make-up and I know that can be a problem. I do feel a slight tingling after using it, but it actually feels nice, not painful. I do feel as if my pores appear smaller which is one of the claims of the product. The bottle tells you that less is more and that is definitely true! You only need a tiny dot of this or else you will have a mask instead of a foam. The Deep Cleansing Foam retails for $20.
The Purely Nourishing Moisturizer is fantastic! I love that it goes on with such ease and is completely light weight. There are absolutely no worries about this becoming greasy either. I also love that it comes in a pump bottle as opposed to a tube (less messy and I feel like I waste less). I've been using the Purely Nourishing Moisturizer both day and night for a week and my skin is doing great. The moisturizer retails for $28 online.
Overall, I think that bareMinerals has come out with a winning skincare line. The products I tried have been great for even my sensitive skin that revolts against change!
