Pocoyo SwiggleTraks Review

One of my favorite items from the Time to Play event in NYC was the Pocoyo SwiggleTraks. If you have small children in your home then you are probably familiar with the Pocoyo series that airs on PBSKids and Nick Jr. It is an adorable little show for preschoolers that features a little boy, elephant, duck and other fun characters. The Pocoyo SwiggleTraks are just one of the items in a series of fun toys for kids that feature Pocoyo characters.

So, what are the SwiggleTraks? In my opinion they are a great introduction to train sets or other motorized vehicles for your kids. The interlocking tracks are great for teaching kids fine motor skills. While they take some finesse, it will be great practice and fun for the beginners. The pieces are big and chunky which are great for little hands. What I love the most about the tracks is the fact that when they are pieced together they are flexible and allow for many different fun combinations. You can even create a circle and allow your motorized Pocoyo car to move along like a hamster in a ball! The set also features a moving bridge which is exciting for young eyes to watch. The Pocoyo car plays music along with the buttons on the track.

If I had to change anything about this set it would be that the tracks themselves feel a bit thin. I love the size, but I wish they were thicker or more sturdy. With that said, they hold up well and probably need to be thin for flexibility sake.
