Friday Five: New Year's Crafts for Kids

Friday, December 30, 2011 Posted by Felicia

If you are looking for some fun New Year's craft activities for your kids, check out these wonderful finds that are simple but will get everyone involved.

1. Edible New Year's Hats.  They are just as cute as they are delicious!  What a fun idea for so many ages.

2. Noise Makers.  I know, mine says "2010" because we made these two years ago.  Graham sure had a blast shaking them.  Beware... you may need to set some limitations for your own sanity!

3. New Year's Eve Poppers/Crackers.  What a cute idea from one of my favorite blogs Make and Takes!

4. Time Capsule.  How about having your child cut out images or draw pictures of major things that happened to them this year?  You could even put them into a jar.  Or, make a Memory String!

5. Happy New Year Banner.  What could be better than sequins and kids?  Ok, you'll have a mess but you will have fun!

Thx for your post, I really enjoy your blog. Long time lurker, first time commenter, you know the drill. I tried to share this one time before, I don’t think it posted correctly…hopefully it will this time!
