"Step into Summer": Kokopax and Kushies Gift Pack
What is better than summer time in the pool? How about an adorable baby all decked out for the pool! Not only is it cute, but it is important to have the right gear for their sensitive skin and sweet little eyes. Also, most public pools require you to have a swim diaper on any child under the age of 3.
Kokopax, makers of all things adorable, have a cute sun hat for babies that you are going to love. The Savannah Baby Sun Hat is made from 100% cotton and is the most durable feeling baby sun hat I have placed my hands on. I also love the chin strap that has Velcro on the bottom. It is always important to have a chin strap that is quick and easy when you have a squirmy baby! The Savannah Baby Sun Hat is available in two different prints (Sailor and Espresso). Kokopax also makes 3 different styles of carriers that could be helpful this summer for hikes, trips to the zoo, and traveling. Make sure to check them out!
Pair this sun hat with the Kushies Swim Diaper and Sunglasses and you have an adorable outfit that protects for your little one. If you have ever purchased a package of disposable swim diapers, you know how expensive they are and how long they last (not very long). I love the Kushies Swim Diaper because it is reusable and adorable at the same time. The waist is adjustable so that you can be sure to find the correct fit. There are 10 adorable styles to choose from. The sunglasses come in 5 different colors and sizes for infants to toddlers.
This product was provided free of charge by Kokopax and Kushies. These are my honest opinions on the product. I do not post reviews on products I can not stand behind. Please see my Terms of Use for more info.

"Step into Summer": Define Me Clothing
I am a sucker for all things personalized! I love the initial purses, the initial cups and business folders, initial jewelry...I could go on and on. But, what I love more than my initials on pretty things are personalized things for my kids. When you personalize it takes something ordinary and makes something special and unique just for them.
We were sent a personalized shirt for Graham from Define Me Clothing. I love the options that she has available in the store because you really can find something that may "define" your child, so to speak. Of course, at Graham's tender age of 3, he is all about trucks, tractors, trains, and all things construction related. We actually took him to the rock quarry with us when we needed some screening and he is still talking about that "adventure." So, naturally we picked out the "Construction Zone" design for Graham. It features a dump truck dumping out dirt with your child's name on top. There is a tow truck that looks as if it is towing your child's name up! Graham is all about this shirt! I am also all about the fact that it came in an organic cotton option. I love the feel of organic cotton and it also tends to hold up well in washes. Besides the organic cotton, there are a host of other options for you to have the image printed on. The tees start at $24.

We have only washed the shirt once, but there has been no fading or lifting of the print. I do have to disclose that the original shirt we received had a minor boo boo on the collar (this is going to happen to the best of companies). Somehow part of the tag print (tag less) was printed onto the collar. I contacted the company and received the sweetest letter and was offered a replacement immediately. Again, this only speaks volumes of how this company operates and makes me that much more fond of them!
If you are looking for the baby in your life, you should check out the personalized baby blankets. They include a sweet saying or emblem as well as your little one's name. The baby blankets retail for $36 and would be great for gift giving. Keep in mind that you receive free shipping if you purchase 2 or more items!

"Step Into Summer": Macy's First Impressions
I know that many people told me that shopping for a boy wouldn't be as fun as shopping for a little girl, but I beg to differ! It was a ton of fun shopping for Graham (still is) and I am finding that things just keep getting cuter for baby boys. You know that Macy's is known for their quality clothing and great looks and they have a line of infant clothing that is adorable! First Impressions has their brand new spring/summer lines in stores now and you need to check them out.
We were sent an outfit from the Satin Hanger Collection as well as a five-piece layette set from the Everyday Values Collection and an adorable plush dog. Don't you love the precious short-alls with the giraffe?! I can't wait to put my new little bundle in these. They will be perfect for church or maybe even a first birthday party. I am also impressed with the prices on the Satin Hanger Collection. You can own boutique style outfits for department store prices which is such a breath of fresh air.
The Everyday Values Collection is the perfect idea for a baby shower gift. The five-piece layette includes 2 body suits, pants, a footie, and a bib that coordinates. You can receive all of this for less than $15 which is a bargain for the quality of clothing you will receive. I don't even think you could find this type of deal in a consignment store. I remember when Graham was little how important it was to have different types of interchangeable outfits because you just never knew what would need to be changed!
If you do not happen to have a Macy's near by, you can purchase from the First Impressions brand online. I know it is a site that I have been browsing a lot with this new addition on the way!
This product was provided free of charge by Macy's. These are my honest opinions on the product. I do not post reviews on products I can not stand behind. Please see my Terms of Use for more info.

Shirts That Go!
When I first named this website, it was because I had an extremely active toddler who loved to go! Now that he is a little older he still loves to go, but he also loves THINGS that go! I really do not know any preschool aged boy who doesn't love trains, trucks, airplanes, or construction equipment. There are also several little girls I know that are infatuated with them. This is the concept behind Shirts That Go!

Nick Morgan is the father behind these awesome shirts. His 6 year old son was the inspiration. I can relate to Nick because we often find ourselves looking for trains and passing by the fire station just so Graham can catch a glimpse. Nick knew that kids really love the look of the realistic vehicles and grow beyond the cartoon like images. It is true for us that Graham will always gravitate towards the more realistic when offered a choice.
We were sent the Diesel Train shirt as well as the Blue Fire Truck shirt for Graham. Graham picked out the Diesel Train shirt and was excited about it the moment it arrived. He often pretends he is a diesel train, so this was right up his alley! I dropped off Graham at preschool the day he wore the Blue Firetruck shirt and immediately several of his class mates were asking him about his "cool shirt". One class mate said to me, "Where did you get that?". Luckily, the website is printed right on the back. Not only are these shirts realistic, but each one features the particular vehicle in movement. Nick works with an artist to achieve the perfect realistic look that kids will love.
The shirts are made from soft cotton and run a little small so you may want to order a size up. We ordered a size 4 for Graham and it fits him with some room left over (Graham normally wears a 3T). The price for a short-sleeved shirt is $22 and well worth it! I think I'll be buying these for birthday presents!
This product was provided free of charge by Shirts That Go. These are my honest opinions on the product. I do not post reviews on products I can not stand behind. Please see my Terms of Use for more info.

Bear Hands :: Have Fun while Keeping Warm!
Have you ever bundled your child up to go outside and play in the cold only to look out a few minutes later to see that they have completely stripped out of their warm clothes? Well, there are only a few things that Graham will wear outside. He isn't really big on jackets or hats, unless it's his Bass Pro hat. When we received the Hat and Mitten set from Bearhands.net Graham immediately wanted to put them on. We put the hat and mittens on him and he kept them on even though it was in the mid 70's. They only reason he took them off was to eat an ice cream cone. I must say he looks absolutely adorable in them so I love that he likes to wear them!

The hat and mittens are made of fleece and the mittens even have gripping pads that make them look like bear paws. The hat actually looks as if your child has bear ears. Bearhands.net sells the hat with chin strap, mittens and mitten clips as a set for only $27.50.
This product was provided free of charge by Bear Hands. These are my honest opinions on the product. I do not post reviews on products I can not stand behind. Please see my Terms of Use for more info.

Puddlefoot Just Got Bigger!
You may remember a while back me telling you about this awesome little mom owned company called Puddlefoot. Well, she just revamped her website and added even more sizes!Every tee is made from 100% combed ringspun cotton and printed with water based inks. The best part? Her designs are completely original and adorable! We already had the Y'Onion shirt in 24 months and were sent the same thing in 2T/3T! It fits Graham like a charm and is still the same wonderful soft feeling shirt that gets people talking! I also love that she offers organic options! You don't find that for babies and toddlers very often.
Suzi MacDougall is the artist, wife and mom of two boys behind this precious company. The characters were created a long time before her children were born, but once her sons came into the world, she was inspired to create again! Puddlefoot would make an excellent gift idea or just a great new every day tee for your little one that shows off their BIG personality! Prices range from $22-$27.50 and there is always FREE SHIPPING!

Swing Into Fall Looks for Less at T.J. Maxx and Marshalls!
I love the feeling of fall in the air around here lately! What I don't love is the fact that I pretty much need a brand new wardrobe this year. The good news is because I have lost weight (not really trying to, but keeping up with a 2 and a half year old wears you down)! The bad news is it costs money! Money that we do not have an abundance of. If you are a loyal reader, you know that I like to frequent T.J. Maxx and Marshalls because of the deals I can find. I can typically leave with more than I would normally have gotten at your typical department or retail store.Just in time for fall, I received two $25 gift certificates from T.J. Maxx and Marshalls! My mission was to find the best fall fashion deals for less. I always have a ton of fun when I'm shopping these stores because you never know what you will find. I took a trip to the TJX headquarters a couple of months ago where I learned a lot of valuable information. One of the tips I learned is that both stores are brand new stores every week! That's how often they move merchandise! I also learned that less than 5% of the store is irregular or last season. So, the good news is that you are receiving the same quality merchandise, in style, for LESS! Say it with me...LESS! Hallelujah! Now I can have more than one pair of black pants that I rotate every other day (no kidding).
Here's what I found:

- Nine West 3/4 length Bohemian style shirt for $19.99 from T.J. Maxx (originally over $40)
- Pink Over sized purse by Emillie M. for $16.99 from Marshalls (originally about $30)
Here's what he found:

- Polo dress socks for $9.99 from Marshalls (originally $18)
- Polo short sleeved shirt for $34.99 from Marshalls (orginally $34.99)
- Tommy Hilfiger leather belt for $12.99 from Marshalls (originally $26)
Check out the cute, web only commercial T.J. Maxx and Marshalls has out for fall:
Overall, we are true believers in the value you can receive at both stores. I enjoy the hunt, but most importantly, I enjoy the money that my family saves so that we can spend it on other things. Disney anyone?

I Can Do it Myself! Myself Belts
It seems the older Graham gets, the more independent he becomes. This is good and it can also become a huge burden! There are so many things he thinks he is ready to do, but he is still too small. One of those things is putting on belts! He does ok, but his fine motor skills are just not up to maneuvering a typical belt. Also, because he is potty trained, it can make it ever more frustrating. I found a solution a couple of weeks ago called Myself Belts! We were sent the Construction Belt (because Graham is into all things truck, tractor, and construction equipment related). First of all, I must say that this belt is better quality than many of the belts I own and have spent a lot more money on. It is created from a heavy duty material that is sure to stand up to the roughest toddler (Graham sure does put it to the test). The embroidery is beautiful and very well done.

The concept behind Myself Belts is a simple one. One end of the belt has a snap closure that you fasten around the belt loop. Once you've threaded it through, you fasten the belt with a sturdy Velcro closure. It is so easy that Graham can do it without assistance. Now, he can't thread the belt through, but the point is that he can undo the belt in order to go to the bathroom.

With so many adorable designs to choose from, these would make the perfect gift and are truly sanity savers! I love that you can even have your belt personalized! The Myself Belts are also affordable ranging in price from about $14.95-$25.95. Also, if you buy two or more belts you will receive FREE SHIPPING! They do run slightly small, so you may want to order up a size. We got a size small for Graham and it fits, plus has plenty of growing room and he is a pretty slender fellow!

A School Week's Worth of Clothes for $50!
When I was contacted by Walmart to take the $50 challenge I was a little skeptical. Sure, I know that they have affordable clothes because we buy a lot of Graham's every day clothes there. We can always find great prices and deals every time we go. But, when I thought about trying to buy him enough clothes to make it through a school week (5 days) with just $50, I was wondering how they were going to pull it off.Believe it or not, most of the items I purchased for Graham were under $5. That wasn't just true in the boys section, it carried over into the girls as well. I also did not purchase anything from the clearance rack. I figured, if this was to be for back to school, we needed to keep it with actual back to school clothes (long sleeves, long pants, etc). Depending on your area, you could get even more back to school clothes for $50 if you shopped the clearance rack, but in NC, we have to look ahead to the chilly falls and cold winters.

I don't know about you, but it makes me absolutely giddy to walk into a store and see signs that say things like "$4.50" or "$5" for clothing! Honestly, you really can't find clothes for less than that in a consignment store.

The Garanimals clothing is where I always go first when shopping at Walmart. We literally found him shirts for $3.50

I even found a rack of blue jeans for $8. Even when there are huge sales, you rarely find that kind of deal on blue jeans.

We came home with 5 pairs of pants and 5 shirts. All in all, we ended up spending about $48! Yes, we were under budget for the challenge!

And check him out! This was all purchased at Walmart (minus the Nemo fish). Who says stylish has to cost a fortune?

Jump Start Back to School with The Children's Place
One of the places we love to shop for Graham is The Children's Place. I know that most of my readers are familiar with this store. It is definitely where we go when we are looking for a special outfit, jackets, and coats! We have even picked up some pretty cute winter hats there. The Children's Place is nice because it seems like they are constantly running sales and have some very affordable options. Right now they have a summer sale where items are $2.99 and under! You can't find those kinds of prices in a consignment store! They have also come out with some pretty adorable Halloween costumes for the kiddos!

For back to school, they have put out some adorable styles! I love the look of the Pattern Play outfits for Big Boys and the Art Star look for Big Girls. Graham was sent a pair of the carpenter jeans. Jeans are such a staple item for back to school! Again, you can pick them up for a bargain for 2 for $22! Keep in mind that the boys jeans tend to run larger on Graham (not sure if that would be true for everyone).
I like to shop on
line at The Children's Place before I head to the store to get an idea of what is available. This helps me two ways: save money and save time! You can get an idea of items that mix and match well from the outfits that they put together for you on the website. Being able to be flexible with clothing is a great way to save money. When you go in the store with a game plan, you are going to save! You've got to love a website and store that helps take the grunt work out of back to school clothes shopping for you! This giveaway has ended. Congratulations to Trixpixel!

Kidorable. So Cute You'll Cry.
I am a sucker for clothing and accessories that are unique and stand out. What mom isn't really. I am so excited to introduce you all to Kidorable. If you haven't already seen them, you really must check out what they've got going on! They've even been featured on the Today Show.We were sent the Frog Rain Coat, Boots, and Umbrella. I'm not kidding, when I opened the box I cried because they are so sweet! We actually got them just in time as well. As soon as I opened the box and took it up to my mother's house to show it off, and a down pour came! Graham had the chance to try it all out right then and there. He is in LOVE with his boots especially! He immediately started showing them off and went searching for the pockets on his rain coat. Once I opened the umbrella he had a new best friend! Later that day we went out to eat and he of course was still wearing his rain boots, and we got at least 5 different compliments on them.

The Rain Coat is PVC with a polyester lining and comes with a matching wooden hanger! The precious frog on the front is also a zippered pocket, is 3 dimensional, and even has a mouth that opens. There is beautiful red trim around the hood and sleeves and it has a snap button closure to make it easier for little slippery hands. There is a second pocket on the other side that has no zipper.

The boots are easy to slip on and off and run pretty true to size. They are made from natural rubber and attract a ton of attention! Pair these with the eye catching umbrella and you have the perfect gift! The umbrella is child sized and 100% nylon.
Kidorable has so many different adorable styles to choose from. One of my favorites for little girls is the Lucky Cat! They have Firemen, Dinosaurs, Bees, Mermaids, Pirates and more!
