Oh Plah! Eco-friendly, Safe, Wearable Teether
I can remember when Graham was very small and needed to nurse virtually every hour. I can remember being in the grocery store trying to check out and watching the clock tick down to the hour! There were times when I tried everything to keep him entertained! You try to plan the best you can, but there are always times when your best plans fail! That's why I was excited to stumble across an eco-friendly new alternative to keeping your child entertained! Oh Plah! is a funky bracelet for mom that is also a teether for baby!
"Oh Plah!" is French for "Here You Go!" which is an appropriate name for this stylish teething bracelet that also serves as a toy! Oh Plah! is constructed from medical grade thermoplastic, is non-toxic, bacteria resistant, PVC, BPA, and lead free! Simply clean your Oh Plah! with soap and water and use it again and again! Your baby can bend it, twist it, roll it, bite it, or play with it! Another great use for the bracelet is to use it as a nursing reminder. I often used a hair tie on my wrist, this is a much more stylish alternative!
Oh Plah! by Roundhouse Design Collaborative comes in 5 different colors that represent 5 different ways of being: Energy, Simplicity, Harmony, Serenity, and Synchronicity. Each bracelet retails for $19.99.

What I love about them is that when you look at them they look like regular jewelry... but they are actually soft to the touch just for your baby!Another great use for the bracelets is to use them as your "nursing reminder." When you are nursing it is important to alternate sides. I used a bracelet to let me know which side I ended on. The bracelets are easy to slip on and off so the process would be smooth! You could also use them as something to keep your baby occupied from distractions while you nurse!
The prices range from $17.95 to $19.95. These would make an excellent baby shower gift! You are sure to have a gift that will be greatly appreciated that is not a repeat!

Tooth Tissues: End the Battle When Teething!
When Graham is teething it is like World War III getting him to let us put a toothbrush in his mouth! I'm sure it hurts to have the pressure rubbing on his gums (although, you would think it would feel better). When I stumbled across Tooth Tissues the other day I had to give them a try! Tooth Tissues is a new company that just debut February of 2008!Before I used them on Graham's teeth I tried them out myself (what mom wouldn't). And I was so happy to find that there was NO taste and they leave no residue! I think I might carry some in my purse to freshen up my own teeth when I'm out!
And what does Graham think? Well, just check out the pictures below:

I literally have to pry the Tooth Tissue from his tiny little death grip! He loves rubbing his teeth even when in the midst of cutting the canine teeth! Tooth Tissues has aloe vera which is supposed to help soothe sore gums! Judging from Graham, it works! I got these at just the right time!

These would also have been wonderful to have before Graham had teeth! Every night we would wash his gums off with a wash cloth. With the added bonus of Xylitol and the aloe vera for teething....these are perfect for babies who may not have teeth or are just starting to cut them! Tooth decay is the single most common infectious disease in children, so good oral hygiene is extremely important!
Why We Love Them:
*Fluoride Free and safe for babies
*Soothes teething gums with aloe vera
*99% Natural
*Uses Xylitol (proven cavity fighter)
*Paraben Free!
*No taste to worry about
*No residue or stickiness
Tooth Tissues are $6.99 for a package of 30 tissues. They are generously sized! If your child is over 16 months old the primary form of oral hygiene should be the tooth brush, but, there are so many reasons you could still use these (on the go, teething, freshen teeth between brushing, etc).
